I was recently an attendant for a soldier who had to be escorted to Landsthul , Germany . Although I was not sick or injured, you opened your closet so that I might get some warm clothing items. We were just in from Iraq where the temperatures were soaring over 100 degrees, but when we got off the aircraft it was a cool upper 30 degrees. I was so grateful that you were there and not only did you warm my body you warmed my soul with your warm smiles and cheerful natures. I will always remember the trip fondly thanks to the volunteers at the Chaplains closet. Thank you so much for the service and work you are doing. It is much appreciated.

This was sent to the LHCP president for a LHCP sponsor.
I would like to take a moment of your time, to thank you for generosity and thoughts for all our deployed members of our United States. It is comforting and reassuring to know that the people back home have us all, in there thoughts and day to day lives. The pillows are a welcome item. It is so hot, dry, and dusty every day here, that after a long day it’s nice to have a clean, soft comfortable pillow from home to relax on. I can assure you that they will all be put to good use. Again thank you, and we’ll all be home soon.
